Peach Pie

  Handmade objects are a part of my life. I believe that I pick what bowl, mug or plate I use by what kind of mood I am in for that day. I love to browse handmade objects by touching, holding and studying how they look in different kinds of light. A couple weeks ago I was inspired to make a peach pie and loved the way the peaches and pie looked in the blue bowl and plate. The contrasting colors of the golden peaches and crust to the vibrant blue of the ceramics looks inviting and yummy. My husband enjoyed the pie and I enjoyed how food and ceramics play together to create a beautiful masterpiece.
